When I shopped at Jabong.com

I have never shopped online except for buying movie tickets or travel tickets. The sheer experience of feeling the products with bare hands and looking at the various options at a store outlet gives me more confidence about the shopping deal. However, when I got an opportunity to shop with Jabong.com, I decided to give it a try since I had heard positive reviews about their shopping portal.

The portal did not disappoint me. From watches, shoes and wallets to clothes, jewellery and toys, this portal has something for everyone-men, women and kids. You can even buy home furnishing and decor items. You can view the product from various angles, including close-ups, to give you the actual feel of the product. The clothes section also displays the range of colours in which the displayed piece is available along with the sizes. You also have the luxury of choosing between multiple brands for the line of products.

I am wary of purchasing clothes online for the fear of ordering a wrong size. Yes, they do have a 30-day return policy during which the product can be exchanged. Terms and conditions apply. However, I was not ready for even that kind of a risk and decided to go with a safe bet-bags/wallets. I found this smart wallet which was priced at a little higher than the amount of the gift voucher I had. I hesitated just a bit and went ahead with the purchase. The payment interface was to be completed in 3 easy steps. I punched in the code and opted for cash on delivery for the remaining amount. However, due to some technical issues, the order could not be placed. But, the customer service promptly called me in a couple of hours, rectified the issue from their end and sent the product on its way to me.

I was quite impressed with the professional manner in which Jabong.com handles their product delivery. I was kept updated of the shipping details and its status through timely SMSes. The icing on the cake was the time of delivery. Although the site gives a window of 2-5 working days, I received my parcel the next day itself. The actual product matched the pictures on the site perfectly, giving no room for any complaints.

As a first-time shopper, I would rate the experience as quite good. I quite liked the hassle-free procedure. Online shopping is definitely a boon for people who like to browse and shop at their own convenience without the hassles of juggling through a crowded mall or market and the standing in long queues to bill the products. Do give it a try.

P.S: The views are completely based on my personal experience and is not a paid review.

  1. Hey I shopped at having too. The shopping exp as you've enrolled was good. Although I was not so happy with the product. I'd ordered a mangalsutra and earrings that took my fancy and found that it was way too small and fragile for my expectations. Anyway I ordered it just before coming here so didn't want to get in the hassle of returning it. But yeah the from the start to finish they were bang in with the service, email SMS phone call to confirm everything. And mine was COD payment. I am vary of suing through credit/debit cards since I've had bad exp with that before.

    1. I was also eyeing some jewellery but decided against it and played it safe. I'm an indecisive shopper and might have doubts after the order is placed. Hence I've shied away from online shopping, so far ;-)

  16. I first started shopping online with Flipkart for books .. I am slowly moving on to other products now .. It sure is hassle free and really convenient .. What with the city traffic locking you up for quite some time and finding a parking space in the mall and paying a bomb for it too ..
Sitting in the comfort of home and shopping at leisure is really cozy .. And yes, the deliveries are always before time!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. oh is it? but are you comfortable with apparels and footwear as well?
Surely, this gives a respite from the mad traffic but I have my reservations for stuff that need to be tried out before a purchase and I am not a sure shopper that can decide by just looking at a piece. I need to be convinced that it looks good on me :-)

    2. I have'nt tried apparel and footwear .. Am also not for shopping online when it comes to stuff that need to be tried on b4 buying :)

Guys are significantly less cost-free to present their emotions.

  39. Hi there!
I'd need to concur with Dane, especially with #10. As a doctor, I wouldn't advocate skipping breakfast
or fasting till noon. There have been several studies
released in healthcare literature demonstrating the rewards of eating a healthier and well balanced breakfast and eating much more regular, smaller foods.
Undertaking so retains your blood sugar much more steady and
reduces the likelihood of crashing (energy-wise) later in the working day.
Operating out in the early morning is wonderful, however it
is vital to provide the body with the vitamins it
needs to refuel from the work out and start off the day,

Caffeinated attraction

Words jostled inside Anusha's head as she snaked her way between the tables to her favourite spot in the cozy cafe. She slid her laptop out, rested the bag beside her on the silver grey cushioned sofa and called for her favourite cappuccino. They made it just the way she preferred: the right amount of milk and coffee, the closest alternative to the filter kaapi her mom made.

Gazing out of the glass window, she sipped her beverage, letting the bitter-sweet taste linger, weighing her thoughts before her fingers could fly on the keyboard to give shape to them. The white fluffs of clouds against the clear blue skies floated gently with the summer breeze and they seemed, to the writer in her, like mischevious sheep that had strayed off the flock.

Oh, well, it's my mind that's straying now. Need to get my act right for my next submission. Anusha willed herself back to the present.

The cafe was Anusha's muse, the mecca she haunted during the weekends for the past three months…

The wedding

Holding hands under the inky blue bejeweled canopy, they swore allegiance to each other. Bedecked in a brown shimmery, the translucent veil flowing away from her coy face, she looked up nervously at him. He replied with an imperceptible nod that spoke volumes of quiet reassurance.

Family and friends had gathered for the ceremony that would bind the two lovers for life. The atmosphere was electrifying and the air abuzz with each of them signaling to the other in a frenzy of activity. A huddle in here, a huddle there, some grouping for a light tete-a-tete, some to discuss an important ritual.

The younger lot broke away from the crowd, not entirely connecting with the significance of the gathering, their individual frames dotting the arena like lost stars.

At the precise moment that would signify the sacred union, the chief called for everyone's unwavering attention. The scattered swarm, even the ones that had strayed, converged obediently towards the altar. Each member of the audie…

Rotting humanity

Doc, there's an emergency!

The breaking news flashes the brutal carnage. Images and voices float in my mind as I drive in manic speed to the hospital.

Of sirens blazing. Of toys and limbs lying scattered on a carpet of red and brown.

Oxygen! I scream. Pump, harder.

Doc, there's no pulse.

Shoulders slump.

I witness grief fuse into flames that rise up collectively at the mass funeral. The ashes fall lightly on me.

Will the stench of hate ever recede?
