The pitter-patter of the rain-drops outside the balcony soon
turned into a wailing child. The wind howled and it seemed like a full-blown
tantrum.
The masked man laughed at his victim whose cries for plea
got drowned in the outside mayhem. He quickly stepped outside, washing away the
last traces of evidence.
Sarah felt a sense of pride and victory as she typed out the final stages of her first novella-a suspense thriller- on her laptop.
